FM Conway is looking to recruit a Contract Manager working on major projects around London. As FM Conway’s Contract Manager, you will take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, from planning through to completion, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all site activities. This role offers you the opportunity to work at the forefront of project delivery while being supported by an experienced team and collaborative environment. This permanent, full-time position is based on sites around London.

The duties of the Contract Manager role will include:

  • Leading the pre-planning, pre-programming and overall delivery of works, ensuring client satisfaction throughout
  • Maintaining seamless coordination between clients, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure the successful running of sites
  • Working closely with the Head of Contracts to effectively communicate and deliver all contract requirements
  • Ensuring that the works programme is fully resourced with labour, plant and materials
  • Overseeing project performance, ensuring monthly invoicing is accurate and timely
  • Managing a team of supervisors ensuring that all works are completed in both a timely and satisfactory standard

What skills and experience do you need?

We are looking for a results-driven Contract Manager who has solid experience working on Term Maintenance contracts. You’ll thrive in a client-facing environment and have excellent skills in resource planning, cost management and stakeholder engagement. To be considered for this role you will hold a CSCS card, be educated to degree level or equivalent and hold a construction-related qualification such as an NVQ Level 6, HNC or HND. This role will involve travel to other company locations therefore, you must be able to drive and possess a full UK driving licence.
