Electrician At Build Recruitment, we work exclusively with built environment specialists around the UK. Our client is looking for an experienced resident electrical maintenance engineer to work on the FM contract at Twycross Zoo, Atherstone. You will undertake the internal QS assessments. 20 week temp to perm role paying £24PH. Job Description: To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to HVAC plant, including Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements. Undertake minor fabric tasks and non-skilled tasks as required. This includes the site\’s electrical distribution systems, control panels, split air conditioning units, chillers, air handling units, boilers, hot water generators, pumps, compressed air systems, building management system and all other M&E associated building plant, equipment and systems in accordance with agreed service levels, and respond to site engineering emergencies. To undertake small installation works, repairs to building fabric, and handyperson duties and services to the site in an efficient and courteous manner, with a strong focus on customer care. To support additional M&E works within the individual\’s technical competencies and our contractual obligations. To provide detailed reporting with predictive times for remedial and chargeable works, and life cycle condition reporting. To provide high level Electrical technical and hands-on support in the provision of our service delivery and the daily communication with our clients. To participate in the site duty, call out rota. Adopt a can-do attitude and support the client\’s team across the total Facilities requirements. Knowledge & Qualifications: Essential: Proven ability to successfully work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic, and constantly demanding environment. Well-presented with a professional attitude and meticulous attention to detail. Working to Planned Preventative Maintenance Regimes. Fault finding on electrical circuits. IT literate. Level 3 Inspection. Level 3 NVQ – 2357. Electrical Engineering qualification discipline 18th Edition. Skills needed: Basic DBS, C&G or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification, 18th Edition.
