Job Description

Flywire is a fast-growing fintech enabling high-stakes payments worldwide. As Finance Manager - FP&A, EMEA, you will report directly to the Director of Finance, EMEA and play a key role in driving the region’s continued growth. In this role, you will act as a trusted business partner, transforming complex financial data into actionable strategies that enhance revenue and operational efficiency across our most dynamic markets.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Financial and Strategic Expertise: Apply strong business and financial acumen, along with excellent analytical and strategic planning skills, to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Metrics & KPIs: Understand and manage business and operational metrics, linking them to financial and strategic outcomes.
  • FP&A & Forecasting: Leverage experience in FP&A or predictive modeling to balance the art and science of forecasting, driving actionable insights and results.
  • Project Management: Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple stakeholders with strong project management skills.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Act as an individual contributor while being collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent oral and written presentation skills.

Business Partnership

  • Support EMEA regional and global stakeholders, across each of our verticals (Education, Travel, B2B & Healthcare), by working across complex datasets and providing clear insights into financial performance.
  • Collaborate with teams across finance, analytics, product, sales, and marketing to deliver ROI analyses, understand financial goals, product roadmaps, and sales productivity metrics.

Financial Modeling & Analysis

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze scalable financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Contribute to long-range planning, annual budgets, and regular financial forecasts.
  • Consolidate EMEA regional financial results to ensure accuracy and insight-driven reporting.

Commercial Intelligence & Unit Economics

  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve results.
  • Support business case modeling and in-depth analyses of strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate the profitability of countries, channels, payment corridors, verticals, and products; analyze customer lifetime value (LTV) and cost of acquisition (CAC).
  • Identify opportunities to grow and optimize the business through analytics, financial modeling, and business case development.

Operational Excellence

  • Partner with central finance teams to continuously improve financial models, data integrity, and financial systems.
  • Drive automation of manual reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Either Chartered Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or overseas equivalent) or undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required; 5+ years of finance FP&A experience, ideally in a fast-paced Tech or Fintech environment; Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • You understand how to structure data for scale. Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • You thrive in a matrixed, global environment and understand the nuances of operating across diverse EMEA markets.
  • Outstanding communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. Proven as an experienced, confident business partner.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, as well as able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong systems and data analytic capabilities. Proficiency with ERP and EPM systems (e.g. Workday, NetSuite, Adaptive) and BI tools (e.g. Looker) is highly regarded, as is exploration of AI related tools.
