The Opportunity: As a Business Development Representative (BDR) focused on the Hospitality vertical, you will be the engine behind our sales growth. You will bridge the gap between data and deals, supporting sales management with strategic research, reporting, and high-level administrative coordination. We are looking for a candidate with stellar writing skills and a creative flair who can build strong internal relationships and move comfortably within the hospitality ecosystem. If you are proactive, data-driven, and unafraid to engage with key industry players, this is your place.
Challenges You'll Tackle:
- Strategic Outreach: Manage high-volume engagement (500+ emails and 100+ calls weekly) to identify key decision-makers at corporate brands and management companies.
- Pipeline Excellence: Drive revenue by setting up 3–5 high-impact product demonstrations per week for the sales team.
- Master the Solution: Become a product expert, confidently delivering online demonstrations to prospects and existing customers.
- Data Integrity: Champion Salesforce accuracy by validating account information and performing precise data entry to support regional sales strategies.
- Creative Collaboration: Partner with Sales Leadership and Marketing to craft compelling email content and sales cadences that resonate with the hospitality market.
- Project Leadership: Execute quarterly Sales Plans, manage leads from trade shows and webinars, and coordinate specialized reporting for the Director of Sales.
- Team Synergy: Facilitate regional sales meetings, ensuring clear communication and actionable follow-ups (meeting minutes and task distribution).
Qualifications: What We're Looking For:
- Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or Marketing is preferred, coupled with experience in the Hospitality industry or sales administration.
- Sales Acumen: You are comfortable with cold-calling, prospecting, and identifying client needs to articulate high-impact solutions.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Salesforce.com, GoToMeeting, and Google Suite is essential. You should be a master of spreadsheets and data-driven reporting.
- Communication Excellence: You possess stellar interpersonal skills, professional integrity, and the ability to build trust with high-level stakeholders.
- Drive & Autonomy: High energy, self-motivated, and ambitious. You have a proven record of sound judgment and the ability to work independently or as a key team player.
- Organizational Mastery: Advanced knowledge of sales recordkeeping and the ability to manage complex administrative tasks with precision.
