We specialize in Critical Environments such as Data Centres, Life Sciences, Aviation, High Value Manufacturing and Critical Logistics. We are currently seeking experienced and talented Environmental Health and Safety Advisors to join our high performing project teams in London. REPORTING TO Environmental Health and Safety Lead

Purpose of Role

The Environmental Health & Safety Advisor is responsible for establishing, developing and directing the implementation of the HS&E strategy on Projects while ensuring that a Positive Safety Culture is maintained, and that Flynn are established as industry leaders in relation to Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.

Role Responsibilities

  • Health & Safety Guidance: Implement Flynn’s EHS policies and provide guidance on all health and safety matters.
  • Policies, Procedures & Documentation: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining EHS documentation.
  • Inspections, Audits & Reporting: Conduct site inspections and audits and prepare reports.
  • Risk Management & Incident Reporting: Complete risk assessments and ensure incidents and accidents are investigated.
  • Training & Communication: Identify training needs and deliver EHS training sessions.
  • Subcontractor & Stakeholder Management: Ensure subcontractor compliance with EHS standards.

The Candidate

  • Third level qualification in EHS or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years’ experience working on large scale commercial/construction projects.
  • Highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Conscientious, highly focused and detail orientated.
  • Self-starter and the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Full clean driver’s license preferable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
