We are dedicated to providing compassionate support to our clients with US immigration matters, including work visas, investor visas, family-based green cards, and US citizenship issues. We are a team passionate about delivering personalized services and have created a professional yet welcoming environment for both staff and clients. Our expertise includes employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visas, family-based immigrant visas, consular processing, waivers for inadmissibility, and assistance with entry-related concerns at the US Embassy in London.
Role Description: This is a full-time hybrid position for a US Immigration Paralegal, based in Central London, with an option for some work from home. The role involves supporting attorneys with the review of supporting documents and preparation of:
- Employment-based nonimmigrant petitions filed with USCIS, particularly including E, L and O visa categories.
- Preparing and filing E-1 Treaty Trader and E-2 Treaty Investor applications at US consular posts.
- Preparing and filing family-based immigrant petitions including I-130 and I-751 and immigrant visa processing with the NVC and US consular posts or filing the Forms I-485, I-765 and I-131 with USCIS.
The Paralegal will also liaise with clients, handle inquiries, and coordinate with relevant authorities and agencies on immigration-related matters.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience working as a US Immigration Paralegal.
- Expertise in US agency processes and related legal procedures.
- A high level of proficiency in review of petition and application supporting documents with attention to detail, assisting the lawyer with managing the case according to agreed timelines and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Experience in client communication and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Knowledge of legal software (we use Leap) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Education to a bachelor's degree level in a field that requires a high level of analysis and writing skills such as English Literature, History or Political Science is preferred.
