We are hiring an Associate to join a London-based European Real Estate team led by a Managing Director focused on France, Spain, and European Real Estate. The remit spans real estate investment opportunities in France and Spain and extends to hospitality investing across Europe, offering genuine cross-border deal experience rather than a single-market focus. The European strategy is pan-European, focused on major cities in the UK and Western Europe, with on-the-ground investment professionals in London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and Milan. The team frequently sources complex or inefficient situations, including off-market and lender-controlled assets, and works with a broad network of local operating partners to unlock value.
What you will do:
- Support end-to-end execution: underwriting, financial modeling, investment committee materials, due diligence coordination, and transaction documentation across France, Spain, and broader European hospitality.
- Partner with senior investors on sourcing and market mapping, using local intelligence and cross-border relationships to originate opportunities.
- Monitor assets and portfolios: track business plans, performance versus underwrite, and value-creation initiatives with operating partners.
What we are looking for:
- 2–4 years of relevant experience (real estate private equity, real estate investment banking, principal investing, or a similarly transaction-heavy background).
- Strong analytical and modeling skills, with the ability to work across different legal, leasing, and market conventions in Europe.
- Language requirement: full professional fluency in at least 2 of the languages from Spanish, French, and Italian (in addition to English) to operate seamlessly with tenants, lenders, advisors, and partners in the team's core geographies.
