We are working with one of the UK's fastest-growing consumer finance platforms on hires into their Capital Markets team in London. The business is tech-led, has been solidly profitable for close to a decade and is valued in the billions, which makes the equity offered to new joiners worth something real. The Capital Markets team raises and manages the funding behind the loan book: warehouse facilities, public and private ABS, forward flow and other asset-based finance structures. Small team, large balance sheet, direct line to senior leadership.
The role involves working across the funding side of the business, from structuring new deals to managing existing facilities. This is a hands-on role at Associate or VP level, depending on experience.
What you'll do:
- Structure, negotiate and execute warehouse facilities, securitisations (ABS) and forward flow deals
- Build and maintain cash flow and portfolio models for consumer credit assets
- Work with banks, investors, rating agencies, trustees and law firms through each deal
- Monitor existing facilities: covenants, reporting, performance and compliance
- Analyse portfolio performance and feed insights back to credit and finance teams
- Help shape the overall funding strategy as the platform keeps growing
What we're looking for:
- 4 to 8 years in securitisation, ABS, structured credit or asset-based finance, at a bank, fund or lender
- Hands-on experience with warehouse lines, term ABS or forward flow, ideally on consumer assets (personal loans, cards, auto)
- Strong modelling skills and a good understanding of deal documents
- Clear communicator, comfortable with investors and senior stakeholders
- Based in London or happy to relocate
What's on offer:
- Competitive base and bonus, tailored to the candidate
- A meaningful equity component in a profitable, fast-growing business
- Real ownership of deals and a clear path to grow
