You own the roster that puts the right crew on the right aircraft, inside the rules and without heroics. Pairings, bidding, and the exception that arrives at 02:00 are the job.
Responsibilities
- 01 Publish monthly pairings for flight deck and cabin crew on the London base.
- 02 Run the bidding window and explain the outcome in plain language.
- 03 Cover open duties without burning reserve or breaking rest.
- 04 Coordinate with San Francisco crew control on transatlantic pairings.
- 05 Keep the roster rules written down, current, and readable.
Requirements
- 01 Seven years in crew planning, rostering, or crew control, including time as a lead.
- 02 Fluency with flight- and duty-time limitations on long-haul and short-haul flying.
- 03 Experience running a bidding cycle from open to award.
- 04 A habit of writing the rule before making the exception.
- 05 Right to work in the United Kingdom.
