Job Overview \n You'll be the face of Flying Turtle on the ground - keeping our machines running, our partner sites happy, and our brand looking sharp.
You'll split your time between scheduled maintenance, reactive repairs, new installations, and representing us at both high-profile and humble partner locations including supermarkets, convenience stores, petrol forecourts, hospitals, gyms, airports and much more. \n You'll be responsible for troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable service. \n What is Flying Turtle??Flying Turtle - a new kind of 'vending' machine for the UK market.
Over 300 made-to-order drinks in under one square meter: fresh coffees, teas, sodas, protein shakes, milk drinks, frappes and smoothies + customisations like alternative milk, sweetness level, and more \n We have a unique machine that became an overnight household name in Thailand, with 1 in 300 of the population using it every day.
We scaled from 500 to 5,000 machines in the first full year, and we're now looking to enter the UK. \n
Responsibilities
- \n Servicing & Maintenance \n \n
- Routine preventative maintenance and hygiene checks \n
- Diagnosing and fixing mechanical faults \n
- Diagnosing and fixing electrical/electronic faults \n
- Replacing and calibrating ingredient modules (coffee, milk, powders, syrups) \n
- Basic software/firmware troubleshooting \n
- Stocking & Supply \n
- Restocking consumables on a scheduled route \n
- Managing stock levels and minimising wastage \n \n Site Visits & Installation \n \n
- Scheduled and reactive visits across London \n
- Installing new machines and coordinating site access \n
- Planning efficient multi-site routes \n
- Acting as the face of Flying Turtle on-site \n \n Compliance & Reporting \n \n
- Health & safety and hygiene compliance \n
- Maintaining accurate service logs \n
- Escalating complex issues to second-line support \n
- Diagnosing and fixing mechanical faults \n
- Diagnosing and fixing electrical/electronic faults \n
- Replacing and calibrating ingredient modules (coffee, milk, powders, syrups) \n
- Basic software/firmware troubleshooting \n \n Skills \n \n
- Experience in vending, coffee/beverage equipment, or a related mechanical/electrical trade is a huge plus \n
- Full UK driving licence (essential - this is a mobile, field-based role). Maximum 6 points \n
- Comfortable with hands-on mechanical and basic electrical fault-finding \n
- A genuinely customer-facing manner - you’ll represent our brand at every site \n
