About the Role
We are seeking two experienced IT Field Engineers to assist with a large-scale re-imaging project involving approximately 400 laptops and desktops across multiple sites along the M4 corridor. You will be responsible for re-imaging devices, deploying Windows 11 using PXE boot, and ensuring full functionality with Office 365. This role requires travel between sites and may involve occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
- Re-image and configure Windows 11 laptops and desktops.
- Use PXE boot or similar tools for efficient deployment.
- Configure and verify Office 365 applications post-imaging.
- Perform quality assurance and ensure successful device handover.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Collaborate with another engineer to complete the rollout efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Windows 10/11 deployment and imaging.
- Proficiency with PXE boot environments and related tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Office 365) setup and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Own vehicle with valid business insurance.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to travel across multiple sites (Reading → Carmarthen).
- Willingness to undertake overnight stays where required.
