Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage virtualization infrastructure using platforms such as VMware, Hyper‑V, or KVM.
  • Maintain and optimize virtualized environments to ensure high performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Work with Cloud Native technologies, containers, and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to deploy, scale, and manage applications.
  • Integrate CNAPP solutions with virtualized environments for seamless application deployment and management.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code practices using tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate the provisioning and configuration of virtualized and cloud resources.
  • Establish and maintain monitoring solutions for virtualized environments and CNAPP, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis for incidents, implement corrective actions, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Implement security best practices for virtualized and cloud‑native environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to virtualization and cloud technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to ensure seamless integration of virtualization and CNAPP solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation for virtualization and CNAPP configurations, processes, and best practices.
  • Train and support other team members on virtualization and CNAPP-related technologies.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM) and Cloud Native Application Platforms (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
  • Experience with scripting and automation.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
