Hybrid Position(1 day a week in office at least)
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage virtualization infrastructure using platforms such as VMware, Hyper‑V, or KVM.
- Maintain and optimize virtualized environments to ensure high performance, availability, and scalability.
- Work with Cloud Native technologies, containers, and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to deploy, scale, and manage applications.
- Integrate CNAPP solutions with virtualized environments for seamless application deployment and management.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code practices using tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate the provisioning and configuration of virtualized and cloud resources.
- Establish and maintain monitoring solutions for virtualized environments and CNAPP, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of issues.
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents, implement corrective actions, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Implement security best practices for virtualized and cloud‑native environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to virtualization and cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to ensure seamless integration of virtualization and CNAPP solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation for virtualization and CNAPP configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Train and support other team members on virtualization and CNAPP-related technologies.
Skills:
- Proven experience in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM) and Cloud Native Application Platforms (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
- Experience with scripting and automation.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
