We currently have a full-time vacancy for a HGV Trailer Technician, based in our busy Redditch Depot. Are you passionate about trucks, trailers, and the vibrant world of live music? We’re looking for a skilled HGV Trailer Technician to keep our fleet of music tour trucks on the road and performing at their best!
Pay Rates: £17.30 per hour Monday to Friday (£18 per hour if have C+E licence). £25.95 per hour after 40 hours per week. Bank holidays paid at 2.5 x hourly rate.
Shift Patterns:
- 06:00 – 15:00 week 1
- 11:00 – 20:00 week 2
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain trailers to roadworthy conditions to comply with legal & company standards.
- Support the business with various projects.
- Responsible for the training and development of apprentices.
- Diagnose and rectify all types of faults.
- Ensure health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.
- Maintain a thorough and current product knowledge and attend training courses.
- Provide support to both parts & administration teams when required.
- Prepare trailers for MOT testing.
- Record trailer defects and keep accurate records of work carried out on each trailer.
- Carry out fault diagnosis.
- Work with vehicles, trailers, and ancillary equipment.

- Capability to work within guidelines given and to strict deadlines.

Experience / skills that will be regarded as ideal are:
- Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician) or proven experience repairing & maintaining vehicles.
- LGV/HGV licence ideal, however not essential.
- SAF/BPW experience.
