We’re expanding our busy Redditch Team and are looking for a proactive and skilled HGV Technician to join our team on a full time contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of in-house fleet repairs, work with a supportive team, and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.

Pay Rates: £18.90 per hour Monday to Friday (£19.60 per hour if have C+E licence). £28.35 per hour after 40 hours per week. Bank holidays paid at 2.5 x hourly rate.
Shift Patterns:
- 06:00 – 15:00 week 1
- 11:00 – 20:00 week 2
Your Role:
- Inspect and maintain our HGV fleet to meet both legal and company standards.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT and handle transport to the Test Centre.
- Record defects and maintain accurate service records.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including minor accident damage.
- Work with a range of vehicles, trailers, and ancillary equipment.
- Deliver high standards of customer service and collaborate effectively with the wider team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a similar role (essential).
- Hands-on commercial HGV experience.
- A can-do attitude and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset.
- Attention to detail with excellent record-keeping.
- Team player.
Qualifications:
- City & Guilds Parts 1, 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in Motor Vehicle Management
- Or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry.
