Building Control Apprenticeship as a Registered Building Inspector (RBI) Class 1. Salary: £22,000 - 28,000 per annum depending on hours and experience. Location: Central London.

This job is open to those looking to move into the industry, including technical administrators, graduates, site managers, clerk of works, warranty surveyors, trainee Building Inspectors, and apprentice building control inspectors.

Life as a Registered Building Inspector is rewarding; every day is different, and no two clients or builds are the same. You will be responsible for ensuring that the end build is safe and legal. This role offers a long and fruitful career for those ready to take the step.

You will be mentored by a team of surveyors with a proven track record in developing their staff and progressing them internally. You will have the option of shadowing inspectors, desk learning at central offices, and external training courses with time allocated to complete them.

You will be guided through the registration process with the BSR (the regulating body of Building Control) and gain a head start in a rewarding career. Initially, you will work from the central London office 5 days per week, with funded travel when heading out to site.

Once you complete the scheme and registration process, you will become a Registered Building Inspector (RBI) and apply your knowledge of building regulations on site, with automatic promotion upon completion.
