You’ll work closely with clients, design teams, architects and contractors, acting as the compliance lead and ensuring projects meet the relevant Building Regulations and associated legislation. Your responsibilities will include: * Carrying out Building Control site inspections within your class of competence * Assessing and processing Building Control applications * Working collaboratively with clients, design teams and contractors * Providing professional advice and communication to stakeholders * Supporting Local Authorities with regularisation processes where required * Producing accurate inspection records and maintaining digital records * Issuing plan and Final Certificates where appropriate * Investigating and resolving Building Regulations breaches * Keeping up to date with changes to legislation, construction practices and regulatory guidance * Working across the agreed service area as required * Participating in internal training, peer reviews and CPD * Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Building Control service What are they looking for?
