Flutter is seeking a highly motivated and diligent Financial Analyst to join the Financial Reporting Strategy team. This role will play a key part in supporting the transformation and modernisation of the Group’s reporting landscape.
You will work with internal partners across Finance, FP&A, and Reporting teams to deliver high-quality, standardised, and automated reporting solutions. The role offers strong exposure to senior partners, financial systems (including EPM tools such as FCCS, FPlan, and Narrative Reporting), and strategic finance initiatives.
What you’ll do:
- Support the production, improvement, and automation of financial and management reporting for Group and Divisional partners.
- Partner with teams across GA&R, FP&A, Commercial Finance, and other business divisions to understand and translate reporting requirements.
- Assist in the design, development, and deployment of reports within Narrative Reporting.
- Coordinate and handle the end-to-end change process for current reports, working with report owners and system teams.
- Review and assess new reporting requests against the existing reporting catalogue to ensure appropriate challenge, avoid duplication, and promote standardisation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency, consistency, and governance.
- Assist in preparing quarterly reporting and governance packs (e.g., Oversight Committee materials), including analysis of change activity and key themes.
- Work closely with system teams to understand the impact of system changes (e.g., ERP/EPM) and FIM dimensions on reporting outputs.
- Support FP&A and transformation projects, including ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements.
- Participate in cross-training and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
- Collaborate closely with other Senior Finance Managers in the team on various ad hoc tasks.
- Undertake other tasks as assigned to help the team.
How you’ll do it:
- Education: Degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; actively pursuing or interested in a professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse financial data and generate insights to support decision-making.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and quality in data handling and reporting.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of partners.
- Technical Skills: Sophisticated proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems or reporting tools is helpful.
- EPM Exposure (Desirable): Familiarity with tools such as FCCS, Financial Planning (FPlan), or Narrative Reporting is helpful.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify inefficiencies and propose practical, scalable solutions.
- Collaboration & Adaptability: Strong teammate with the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
