We're looking for a highly strategic and collaborative Internal Communications Lead to join our team, playing a pivotal role in strengthening our Flutter Functions division. Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, you'll be instrumental in developing and implementing communication strategies that foster a positive and cohesive sense of identity and belonging across our various locations and functional teams. You'll ensure these strategies are deeply aligned with the wider Flutter Group strategic objectives, contributing significantly to our overall success.

Together we cover Product & Payments, Technology, Sportsbook Product & Trading, People, Property, Corporate Communications and Strategic Partnerships & Transformation.

What you’ll do:

  • Strategic Partnerships: Work in close partnership with the People Team, CLO and CFO senior leadership teams, Hubs and communications colleagues across the wider Flutter Group to develop and deliver integrated communication plans.
  • Drive Engagement: Develop and implement effective communication strategies for our diverse group of Flutter Functions, driving high levels of employee engagement.
  • Change Communications: Lead internal communication efforts for key change initiatives, ensuring clear, timely, and engaging messaging.
  • Shape Culture & Belonging: Play an integral part in shaping and building our culture and sense of belonging across the Flutter Functions division, creating an environment where all our people feel valued and connected.
  • Content & Channel Strategy: Oversee the development and execution of engaging content across various internal channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters, town halls, video), ensuring consistent messaging and optimal reach.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the Functions, providing strategic counsel and influencing communication approaches.
  • Measurement & Evaluation: Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications and engagement activities, using data and insights to refine strategies and demonstrate impact.

How you’ll do it:

  • Internal Communications Expertise: Extensive experience in a senior internal communications role within a global, complex and fast-paced organisation.
  • Change Management: Deep understanding and practical experience in people experience and change management communications.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into compelling communication and engagement plans.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to craft clear, concise, and inspiring messages for diverse audiences.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build strong, credible relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive & Innovative: A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving, always seeking new and innovative ways to engage employees.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
