The Flutter Group Global Mobility team is a key part of our Group People function and Reward team, with specific responsibility for advising on, developing, and managing Flutter's global mobility strategy and operations. This includes our frameworks for international assignments, immigration support, and cross-border talent programmes, whilst also leading on global mobility compliance and risk management across multiple jurisdictions and driving innovation in global mobility practices and employee experience.

The GM Governance & Experience Lead defines, implements and optimises Global Mobility infrastructure, frameworks and standards that enable effective service delivery across all regions. The role defines governance structures, policy frameworks, technology solutions and experience standards that Regional GM teams utilise to deliver direct services to mobile employees. The role holder implements and maintains foundational infrastructure, compliance frameworks and operational guardrails whilst optimising GM practices and employee experience design.

What you’ll do

  • Define and design the global mobility policy framework, providing oversight of immigration programs and compliance requirements across all jurisdictions in partnership with Regional GM teams.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by implementing experience measurement tools, feedback mechanisms, and translating insights into roadmaps for systems, vendors, and employee experience enhancement.
  • Establish compliance frameworks, monitoring systems, and governance structures for complex regulatory requirements, including crisis management protocols and duty of care frameworks.
  • Chair the Mobility Steering Forum to align CoE and Regional GM Leads on priorities, establish RACI frameworks, and ensure effective cross-functional service delivery.
  • Drive GM technology strategy implementation, including case management systems, self-service capabilities, and process optimisation through automation and AI adoption.
  • Design and implement analytics infrastructure and reporting frameworks that provide strategic insights, ROI measurement, and cost analysis tools for decision-making.
  • Define policy templates and decision frameworks for traditional assignments, cross-border remote work, and hybrid mobility arrangements across all markets.
  • Manage a team of 3–6 GM Managers and Specialists, developing global mobility policy, process and infrastructure while collaborating with stakeholders across People teams, Legal, Finance, vendors, and brand leadership.

How you’ll do it

  • Extensive experience in global mobility policy development and compliance management across multiple jurisdictions with proven expertise in international assignment frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement employee experience initiatives and journey mapping in complex, multi-regional environments.
  • Strong track record in process improvement and transformation through technology adoption, automation, and implementation of global mobility platforms and case management systems.
  • Proven analytics capabilities with experience developing reporting frameworks, providing actionable insights, and using data to drive strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic implementation skills with ability to translate objectives into operational frameworks, establish governance structures, and drive initiatives through effective execution.
  • Exceptional change management expertise, facilitating transformation across complex organisations, building consensus, and driving adoption of enhanced processes.
  • Outstanding project leadership abilities, managing complex initiatives independently with strong attention to detail, quality standards, and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Professional qualifications in global mobility and/or international tax preferred, with excellent relationship-building skills across diverse teams, resilience under pressure and active engagement with professional mobility networks.
