Your Team
Finance Manager – Central Marketing
Reporting into the Head of Finance, the experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager will be our lead business partner with the Marketing Services MD and Leadership Team. This role will further develop our understanding of marketing performance across our UK&I brands making pro-active recommendations on how to improve our return on investment.
You\’ll lead the brand finance managers in creating aligned understanding and reporting of our marketing spend across all areas (including digital, brand and media). You\’ll be our finance authority and our point of contact for UKI level commentary and explanation.
What you\’ll be doing
- Further develop and implement a consistent framework for marketing return on investment measurement and spend allocation across all UKI brands-becoming the go-to guide on total UKI marketing investment.
- Work closely marketing services teams (i.e. digital acquisition) to understand trends and performance across division and identifying any risks & opportunities associated with this.
- Develop and advise on marketing investment strategy in partnership with the CFO and CCO, making strategic recommendations on spend optimisation and resource allocation.
- Support the consolidation and insight of brand-level financial performance in key forums such as Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Forecasts, and the Long-Term Planning process.
- Completion of monthly reporting within the UKI cost pack, highlighting key trends and providing commentary on performance across UKI.
- Developing & reporting key marketing performance measurements, ensuring alignment and consistency across all brands
- Support the definition and implementation of outstanding practices across the Commercial Finance function for marketing costs.
- Business partner to the Marketing Services MD & LT to deliver headcount and cost budgets through understanding the cost base, making recommendations and modelling options.
What we\’re looking for
- Ideally, you\’ll have some experience of leading marketing cost budgets and modelling return on investment.

- Bring strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to distil complex data into actionable insight.
- Apply commercial judgment and storytelling ability to articulate financial performance and influence decision-making.
- Navigate and influence within a matrixed, cross-functional environment, leading a broad range of senior internal partners with credibility and clarity.
