We’re looking for two UX Researchers to join Flutter UK & Ireland! Our UX Research team sit within our Customer Super Tribe but support all our Super Tribes to deliver high-quality and impactful research. As a UX Researcher, you’ll be delivering end-to-end research projects, translating insights into clear and actionable guidance for product teams, working closely with the rest of the UX Research team to develop your skills and uphold research standards, methods and culture. You’ll already have a good understanding of qualitative and quantitative methods, but more importantly bring a proactive, collaborative mindset, and genuinely care about understanding our users.

What You’ll Do

  • People
    • Support the UX Research team strategy by participating and delivering initiatives that further the ambitions of the team.
    • Support initiatives that drive improvements across the design processes and design team culture.
    • Proactively manage your own development areas by seeking out regular feedback to improve your research, business and soft skills.
  • Projects
    • Define and execute research projects aligned to the Super Tribe roadmap, working closely with the Lead and Senior UX Researcher to maintain visibility of ongoing and upcoming work.
    • Able to apply appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods and, with support, manage projects from scoping through to insight delivery.
    • With support, translate research findings into clear, actionable insights, ensuring strong alignment with product roadmaps and business goals.
    • Support the delivery of high-priority or complex research projects.
    • Understand when to collaborate with BI analysts and other insight teams to develop research projects further.
  • Process
    • Contribute to scalable research processes, aligning to team standards and advocate for working with our design and user experience team.
    • With support, share and evangelise research insights across teams, promoting evidence-based decision-making and helping stakeholders apply findings effectively.
    • With support, collaborate effectively with other design functions (Design Systems, Content Design, Product Design) to ensure integrated and efficient workflows.
    • Embrace continuous improvement, experimenting with new methods, tools and strategies to advance the maturity of research practices.

How You’ll Do It

  • Experience working in UX Research, or a related discipline, with a sound understanding of how and when to apply quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
  • Flourishing communication skills including storytelling and stakeholder engagement.
  • Awareness of the importance of strong knowledge and sound awareness of research operations, prioritisation and resource planning.
  • Awareness of the importance of balancing business goals, user needs and research capacity.
  • Curiosity and interest in understanding different methodologies and techniques including experimental design and statistics.
