We are looking for a Senior BI Analyst to join an established Commercial Performance and Business Intelligence function. You will work with the Commercial, Promo and Finance teams to understand and explain performance, identify new business opportunities, and enable efficient and aligned insight across our highly regarded brands.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine curiosity to understand customer’s gaming behaviours, a good eye for detail and have the technical and logical skills to derive actionable insight from large datasets.
What you’ll do:
- Understand Sky Gaming consumers through both internal and external data analysis, and enable internal partners to understand how findings should influence our strategic approach.
- Provide performance insight and feedback to the business on our 4 Gaming products by designing and implementing reports and dashboards with relevant critical metrics and explaining the underlying causes of important metric trends to the business through data analysis.
- Influence business thinking by communicating logical analysis clearly to a range of internal partners across the business.
- Contribute to projects focusing on the revenue impacts of changes to products and processes in a fast-paced industry.
- Work with the Commercial and Finance teams on key day-to-day tasks, such as scoping and defining analytics data products.
How you’ll do it:
- Deep technical experience in delivering analytics solutions (ideally using Looker and SQL).
- Skilled at condensing analysis into actionable insights to inform business decisions and influence business performance.
- Excellent teammate with good communication skills who is able to inspire, empathise and work for your team.
- Experience working with senior internal partners, with an ability to clearly and confidently present your findings to all levels within our business.
- Ability to build strong and effective relationships both within the Analytics team and across the business at all levels.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and understand the sometimes-urgent business needs with a measured and strategic approach.
- You will be self-motivated, and action orientated, able to take a lead and drive action and change where required.
- 3+ years of professional experience in similar positions (Commercial and Analytics).
- Any promotional modelling experience is advantageous.
