We are looking for a motivated and collaborative business analyst to support strategic change within our Trading Department. What You’ll Do
- You will be responsible for identifying, prioritising, and delivering strategic projects within Trading. These projects would range from process engineering to building new trader tooling, experimentation, and proving hypotheses or suggested new project ideas using Artificial Intelligence or ML.
- Lead structured discovery sessions to map as-is and to-be processes, identifying difficulties and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with collaborators inside and outside Trading throughout UKI and Global to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and workflows.
- Perform data and process analysis to generate insights and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Advise and assist team members on sound methods, working styles, and approaches.
- Encourage and guide ways of working within the team and across Trading.
- Drive continuous improvement by finding opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and deliver efficiency.
- Proactively identify improvement opportunities, structure and scope a solution, quantify its impact, prioritise compelling projects, and communicate it clearly to senior collaborators.
- Engage with senior collaborators across the Trading division to assess opportunities, provide updates on key change initiatives, and ensure clarity on decisions made.
- Identify use cases of AI / Machine Learning.
- Act as a bridge between commercial trading needs and our quantitative and data science teams.
- Suggest improvements to our algorithms, auto traders, or pricing models.
What we’re looking for
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst handling initiatives of different sizes and scopes within operations, commercial, or customer areas.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills — able to simplify complexity and connect strategic objectives to practical outcomes.
- Strong experience in defining to-be processes, re-imagining the future target state, and detailed as-is mapping.
- Excellent communication and collaborator engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across business and technical teams.
- Demonstrates a collaborative approach and a commercial focus, with a strong understanding of how operational change drives customer and business value.
- Knowledge of product management methodologies, fields, and approaches.
- Comfortable working with different delivery methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall), adapting approaches to suit context and pace.
- Proficiency in English.
What will set you apart
- Consulting experience in strategy, pricing, delivery, or highly analytical/quantitative projects in tech, consulting, or in-house strategy/delivery teams.
- Experience in technology-led projects, particularly generative AI, Machine Learning, Simulation models, and Automation technologies.
- Experience as a product manager or collaborating closely with product management roles.
- Technical / Computer Science / Data Science University degree or equivalent experience.
- SCRUM/Agile Experience.
