Your Team
Reporting into the Research Manager, the Research Analyst will be involved in a wide variety of research projects (both quantitative and qualitative) that support Gaming initiatives of our Flutter UKI brands. Your research will help the business understand performance and identify opportunities for growth and innovation. You will be working on projects that explore how Sky Gaming, Paddy Power and Betfair can provide the best Gaming experiences for its customers. This will cover Marketing, Commercial, Brand, Product and Creative and will involve work across our key Gaming products, including slots, live casino and others.
You’ll be part of a driven, collaborative and social team of researchers working across Flutter UKI, while experiencing the benefits that come from being an in-house researcher: building close relationships with stakeholders, seeing action unfold off the back of your recommendations, crafting your industry knowledge and expertise, and maintaining a good work-life balance.
What you’ll do
- Acting as the voice of the customer to enable the business to make informed decisions based on customer understanding and insight.
- Being involved in a variety of research projects at all stages, from project and supplier management through to data analysis, reporting and presentation.
- Leverage multiple data sources to consistently deliver actionable insight in an impactful and engaging way.
- Working closely with key internal business partners to understand, refine and answer their key questions.
- Work closely with other insight/analytics teams across the business to deliver a comprehensive view of the customer and/or brand performance.
How you’ll do it:
- Excellent project management skills.
- Mathematical or numerate with experience in research or data driven environments.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel (highly desirable).
- Experience of research methodologies.
- Experience of research tools related to survey scripting.
- Strong analytical and report writing/storytelling skills.
- Experience of statistical packages – particularly, Q.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to distil large amounts of data into actionable recommendations.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced, digital environment.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to see commercial opportunities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proactive mind-set (essential), gambling industry knowledge (highly desirable).
- Willingness to learn and drive your own personal development.
