Media Planning Manager – Sky Bet (12 month FTC)

As Media Planning Manager, you’ll deliver world‑class marketing campaigns across key events such as Cheltenham, The World Cup and the start of the new football season.

Location: Leeds, Dublin, London

FTC of 12 months to cover maternity

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Media Strategy to support key marketing campaigns and BAU activity.
  • Work closely with relevant internal teams (Marketing, Commercial Planning, Brand and Creative, CRM, Customer Engagement) to ensure marketing plans and media strategies are aligned to marketing and business strategy.
  • Ensure ATL and digital campaigns work in conjunction to provide a truly coordinated campaign for overall efficiency.
  • Drive forward media capabilities/diversification of channels.
  • Ensure effective critical metrics measurement strategy in place to drive optimum performance.
  • Deliver Media PCAs and regular reporting on performance that will feed into the overall Marketing/campaign performance reviews.
  • Handle an eight‑figure media budget, optimising the media mix in‑line with performance and objectives.
  • As a line manager, take responsibility for the performance, development and engagement of your direct reports.
  • Compliance/Legal relationship for non‑digital media channels.

Qualifications

  • Significant marketing experience, preferably with good knowledge of developing coordinated ATL media campaigns and delivering media plans.
  • Experience planning multi‑channel marketing and past experience in delivering media campaigns across channels such as TV, VOD, Radio, Digital Audio, Print, OOH, Brand Partnerships (although not all vital).
  • Have experience of setting media strategies to support marketing campaigns, ensuring performance meets business objectives and is measurable throughout the process.
  • Experience in leading relationships with Media Agencies and core media third parties.
  • Be commercially savvy and able to make decisions that will see us spending budget in the right areas to improve return on investment.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to interpret and deliver data into significant insights and actions.
  • Experience managing and influencing key customers at all levels.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Naturally collaborative, and with a desire to be part of a highly successful team rather than just being a highly successful individual.
