We are looking for a Learning Lead to join our Learning Centre of Excellence (CoE). You will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation's enterprise learning and people strategies are translated into divisional action. Reporting to the Head of Learning, you will lead the Learning Partner team, providing expert consultation to divisions and ensuring all activity follows the full learning cycle from needs analysis through to evaluation.

This role combines strong business partnering capability with deep expertise in learning and development. You will be accountable for managing intake requests, shaping solutions that align to strategy, and ensuring divisional requirements are met while maintaining consistency across Flutter Functions and our UK and Ireland division. You will also enable the critical feedback loop between divisions and the CoE, shaping design, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Learning Partner team to provide high-quality L&D consultation across divisions.
  • Apply the full learning cycle (analysis, design, delivery, evaluation) to ensure solutions are effective, measurable, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Conduct robust needs analysis to translate business challenges into clear learning interventions.
  • Manage and prioritise intake requests, ensuring demand is aligned with enterprise learning strategy.
  • Influence and consult with divisional leaders, ensuring L&D is positioned as a strategic enabler.
  • Ensure divisional and retail-specific needs are understood and incorporated into frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the Learning Experience & Design Manager to ensure solutions are scoped effectively and delivered to standard.
  • Provide structured feedback and insights from divisions back into the CoE to inform design, innovation, and future planning.
  • Act as a role model for evidence-based L&D practice, ensuring measurement and evaluation are embedded in all activity.

Qualifications

  • Proven people management skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and hold others accountable.
  • Business partnering experience, with the ability to challenge, influence, and support stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated success in a senior learning role within a complex, multi-division organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to influence and consult with senior leaders.
  • Experience leading business-facing teams or L&D business partners.
  • Strong knowledge of learning principles, instructional design, and adult learning theory.
  • Demonstrated ability to use evaluation and data to demonstrate impact and shape future solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating enterprise strategy into clear divisional narratives.
