This is a newly formed role for our global Procurement function, in which you'll build and implement the global framework for supplier relationship management, supplier performance and contract management. This person will develop and embed a standardised approach to supplier management, contracts and delivering benefits across the global Flutter Procurement Functions and wider stakeholder community. The ability to influence at different levels, from ExCo to functional collaborators, is critical to the success of this role.
About Flutter In Flutter COO we work with colleagues across Flutter to build, deploy and communicate the Flutter Edge. Together we cover Product & Payments, Technology, Sportsbook Product & Trading, People, Property, Corporate Communications and Strategic Partnerships & Transformation.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver a transformational supplier management strategy across Flutter globally, which aligns with business objectives and procurement goals.
- Transform supplier performance and value realisation by establishing clear expectations, structured support and proactive relationship management across all our divisions.
- Develop supplier management capability across the regions and divisional teams and empower teams to get the full value from their suppliers.
- Deliver robust contract management processes to ensure benefits from contracts are realised and enhanced supplier relationships.
- Develop a global repository of contracts and contract templates for all of Flutter which will deliver better data and insights and help us understand contract terms and business relationships.
- Develop policies and processes on supplier selection, performance, assessment and sustainability and embed them across our global supplier base in conjunction with local teams.
- Define and supervise metrics and key results and deliver regular reporting on the progress of these to executive and local leadership teams.
- Lead the supplier on-boarding processes and develop reporting mechanisms and mitigation plans to address any issues.
- Lead a team of Supplier Management specialists who provide guidance and support to Divisional Procurement teams.
- Provide leadership and direction to the overall function as part of the Flutter Functions Procurement Leadership team.
How You'll Do It:
- Significant experience in procurement and supplier management, supply chain or a related business area, with time spent in a leadership position within this context.
- Able to utilise technology and data to establish a best-in-class supplier management capability, with an emphasis on outstanding user experience.
- A relational and people-focused approach, able to engage and influence at senior levels (including ExCo and Board-level) as well as lead and engage a multi-location team with diverse skill-sets.
- Experience delivering results in a large, global, federated business.
- Strong analytical skills, able to quickly analyse, distil and draw conclusions on large amounts of disparate data.
