As Managing Director Product, Enablement & AI, you will lead the UK&I Product Enablement organisation responsible for shaping and scaling AI, automation- and data scienceādriven products that empower our customerāfacing brands, including Paddy Power, Betfair, Sky Betting & Gaming, and others. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role sits firmly within the UK&I business leadership structure. You will operate in a twoāināaābox MD partnership with the Managing Director of Enablement, Technology, ensuring that our customer and brand needs and the opportunities presented by AI are translated into highāimpact, brandāfacing products that deliver measurable customer and commercial outcomes.
This is a senior enterprise leadership role for a leader who can combine strategic vision, strong product judgement, and commercial acumen to turn enabling capabilities including AI into a practical advantage across a multiābrand, regulated environment.
What You'll Do- Define and execute the UK&I Enablement and AI strategy aligned to priorities.
- Own a portfolio of AI, automation, and data science products, balancing innovation, value delivery, and risk.
- Partner with Brand MDs, Product leaders, and the MD of Enablement, Technology in a peerālevel twoāināaābox operating model.
- Act as the executive owner for AI and data science value realisation across UK&I.
- Advise the COO and UK&I leadership on AIārelated opportunities, tradeāoffs, and investment decisions.
- Ensure close alignment with Technology, Data Engineering, and MLOps teams so that enablement products are scalable, reliable, and production ready.
- Establish and chair governance forums covering responsible AI, regulatory compliance, and ethical data use.
- Lead enterpriseāwide adoption through change leadership, executive sponsorship, and capability building.
- Own workforce planning, leadership development, and succession for AI and data science product teams.
- Represent UK&I externally and internally as a senior leader in applied AI and data science.
- Businessāfirst product mindset: Start from customer and brand outcomes, shaping AI and data science capabilities as products with clear customers, value propositions, and success measures.
- Strategic and commercial leadership: Make evidenceābased investment decisions and clearly articulate value creation and tradeāoffs.
- Collaborative operating model: Build strong partnerships across brands, technology, data, and group functions.
- Responsible innovation: Enable speed and experimentation without compromising safety, ethics, or regulatory compliance.
- Change leadership: Shift mindsets, behaviours, and ways of working to embed AIādriven decisionāmaking at scale.
