Your Team

Reporting to the Head of Marketing BI, you will lead the execution of intelligence-led approaches to UKI marketing - ensuring insights meet the needs of the organisation’s business goals and align with each of the brands’ strategies across Sky Betting & Gaming, Paddy Power and Betfair. The Lead Analyst will join us on our mission to grow our understanding of marketing effectiveness across Flutter UKI. You will be part of the team responsible for guiding Flutter’s marketing investments through insightful business intelligence & analytics. Marketing Experimentation is a key pillar of our measurement strategy. This role will drive forward our capability in this space, collaborating with our marketing, commercial & finance teams to develop & deliver a comprehensive test & learn agenda, enabling an understanding of the incrementality of various marketing investments.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering best-in-class marketing experiments in partnership with marketing partners that drive actionable business outcomes
  • Developing in-house tooling to enable us to deliver experiments across multiple marketing channels
  • Working with our marketing partners & third parties to understand their measurement solutions and how they can benefit our business
  • Defining our UKI experimentation toolkit and building an awareness and understanding of the pros and cons of different approaches across the business
  • Building a proactive test & learn roadmap that is aligned across brand & digital marketing teams and helps answer our key business questions
  • Collaborating with our in-house MMM team to ensure experimentation findings are helping to calibrate our wider measurement system
  • Educating your Flutter colleagues to improve our understanding of marketing effectiveness as a business
  • Working with the Head of Marketing BI and your peers to develop proactive cross-team insights that deliver value over and above BAU
  • Establishing innovative approaches to understand and tackle complex marketing problems through data

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in running a range of marketing experiments, including geo experiments & A/B tests, and interpreting results in a business context
  • Strong technical experience in data manipulation using SQL
  • Good proficiency in a coding language such as R or Python
  • Skilled at condensing analysis into actionable insights to inform business decisions within marketing and influence business performance
  • Understanding of key marketing analytics concepts including experimentation, attribution models and key data sources to support analysis (e.g. GA4, Appsflyer)
  • Hands-on experience with key digital marketing channels such as Google, Meta & using data derived from their platforms
  • Solid foundational knowledge of marketing covering both offline and online channels and an understanding of CRM activities and processes
  • Ability to present expertly and optimally to senior partners
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships both within the Analytics team and across the business at all levels

You will be self-motivated, and action-oriented, able to take a lead and drive action and change where required.
