We are seeking an individual with a passion for technology, a collaborative approach to work and a drive for excellence. What you’ll do:

  • Design, Develop, Test and Launch solutions and experiments
  • Mentor and guide peers via code reviews, dev sessions and pair‑programming
  • Provide guidance with process design
  • Estimate the effort required for the project implementation
  • Map end‑to‑end business processes as part of solutions
  • Update and maintain Developer Standards around best practices with emerging technologies
  • Engage with partnering teams to define the best approach to implementation
  • Seek to improve, optimize and evolve current working practices to drive efficiency and quality
  • Keep on top of emerging technologies and identify areas of opportunity

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in developing LLM-based applications leveraging them to tackle business problems
  • Experience across different programming languages including Python, C#, JAVA
  • Familiarity with building applications using ML
  • Be able to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment
  • Work cooperatively and partner collaboratively with others across the organisation to get work done
  • Ability to improve, optimize and evolve current working practices to drive efficiency and quality
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and persuasively to non‑technical stakeholders
  • Curiosity & passion in technology: Adaptability to new technologies and stays up to date with what is available on the market
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and with deadlines
  • A passion for sports and experience of working with sports data
  • Operational experience and knowledge are an advantage
  • Fluency in English

What would set you apart:

  • A deep level of horse racing knowledge: experience with working with horse racing data and a knowledge of the nuances of the sport, including a familiarity with Timeform and Sporting Life
  • Technology and/or consulting background: Ideally previous experience in consulting and technology environment that has helped drive transformation
  • Technical expertise: background and knowledge APIs, AI, NLP and experience with GitHub. Understanding of various architectural frameworks and design patterns
