We are seeking an individual with a passion for technology, a collaborative approach to work and a drive for excellence. What you’ll do:
- Design, Develop, Test and Launch solutions and experiments
- Mentor and guide peers via code reviews, dev sessions and pair‑programming
- Provide guidance with process design
- Estimate the effort required for the project implementation
- Map end‑to‑end business processes as part of solutions
- Update and maintain Developer Standards around best practices with emerging technologies
- Engage with partnering teams to define the best approach to implementation
- Seek to improve, optimize and evolve current working practices to drive efficiency and quality
- Keep on top of emerging technologies and identify areas of opportunity
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in developing LLM-based applications leveraging them to tackle business problems
- Experience across different programming languages including Python, C#, JAVA
- Familiarity with building applications using ML
- Be able to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment
- Work cooperatively and partner collaboratively with others across the organisation to get work done
- Ability to improve, optimize and evolve current working practices to drive efficiency and quality
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and persuasively to non‑technical stakeholders
- Curiosity & passion in technology: Adaptability to new technologies and stays up to date with what is available on the market
- Excellent problem‑solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and with deadlines
- A passion for sports and experience of working with sports data
- Operational experience and knowledge are an advantage
- Fluency in English
What would set you apart:
- A deep level of horse racing knowledge: experience with working with horse racing data and a knowledge of the nuances of the sport, including a familiarity with Timeform and Sporting Life
- Technology and/or consulting background: Ideally previous experience in consulting and technology environment that has helped drive transformation
- Technical expertise: background and knowledge APIs, AI, NLP and experience with GitHub. Understanding of various architectural frameworks and design patterns
