Why we need you?
We are looking for a Payments Insight Analyst to join our Central Analytics team, to be based in our Leeds office. You will be a key first point of contact and analytical partner for our Payments stakeholders, providing ad-hoc and proactive analyses, as well as promoting an insight-driven approach to decision making. You will be working closely with the other analysts within the data tribe including Data Warehouse & Data Science becoming the analytical expert in the area of Payments.
- Be the analytical partner for the wider Payment’s team including commercial, strategy and operations.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc analysis, with ability to cater for different audiences.
- Keep key stakeholders up to date with progress and discuss actions as required.
- Leverage our vast data ecosystem and deliver actionable insight to support leaders to make informed decisions.
- Work closely with the payments team and other stakeholders to deliver Impact Analysis, Payments Reporting, Dashboard Development as well as support on larger projects in the pipeline.
Who are we looking for?
- Knowledge or previous experience within the gaming industry.
- Understanding of payments.
- Degree in quantitative area (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics) or relevant industry experience.
- Practical experience with large datasets and analysis tools of your preference (Python, R, SQL, MicroStrategy, Looker or equivalent) (essential).
- Experience in applying statistical techniques to problems (e.g. hypothesis testing, causal impact, regression analysis, time series analysis, or similar).
- Ability to present and explain results of your analyses.
- You have a passion for solving problems and you’ll be using data to make a difference.
