Our Internal Communications Executive will be a practical thinker and doer – someone who asks the right questions, gets stuck in and knows how to turn complex topics into clear, compelling communications. This role will partner closely with the Internal Communications Business Partner for PokerStars and will play a critical part in delivering high-impact communications across our Technology function - helping colleagues stay informed, connected and engaged.

You’ll be responsible for supporting BAU communications across Technology, including functional townhalls, briefing packs, FAQs and key comms moments, while also playing a key role in the delivery of communications for the Flutter Poker Transformation. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is confident navigating change and transformation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Report to the Internal Communications Business Partner and support day-to-day communications across the PokerStars Technology function.
  • Plan, support and deliver key communications moments across the PokerStars Technology function – including functional townhalls, briefing packs, FAQs and leadership updates.
  • Provide support to the Internal Communications Business Partner on the Flutter Poker Transformation, including creating collateral to assist with the successful communication of the transformation.
  • Support broader PokerStars-related communications moments as needed, working with colleagues across functions to ensure messaging is clear, timely and aligned.
  • Uphold best practices for channels to protect the colleague experience and the integrity of our communications, and to ensure consistency and compliance, supporting internal stakeholders with training and resources as required so that they can self-serve where appropriate.
  • Curate, create and distribute content, using creativity to translate complex information into engaging, effective communication.
  • Proactively monitor and engage with emerging technology and communication tools to innovate and augment our suite of communication channels for the future.
  • Manage relationships with third-party suppliers as required.
  • Work closely with other parts of Flutter where appropriate to ensure consistency of message and compliance with various global policies.
  • Support business continuity/crisis situations with content creation and distribution as required.
  • Support and own ad-hoc and project related internal comms work as and when required.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Blend of project management and strong interpersonal skills – organised and proactive with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively and confidently with peers and stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Relates tasks to plan and can not only deliver own accountabilities, but proactively manage project team/stakeholders where input is required against agreed deadlines.
  • Can build internal communications plans that include a range of ideas and practical solutions.
  • Understands the different channels and their primary purpose and can recommend accordingly.
  • Creative, with a technical and digital mindset.
  • Experience with the Microsoft product suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), including SharePoint intranet is a necessity and working knowledge of Poppulo is desirable.
  • Can demonstrate visual creativity for a range of platforms/situations.
  • Experience with video production and using Premiere Pro and Photoshop, or equivalent, is desirable.
  • Has a solid understanding of how to measure the impact of internal communications.
  • Meticulous approach to proofing and editing content with excellent attention to detail to ensure communication is delivered error-free.
  • Ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Takes an audience-centric approach to content development and communication into the business, ensuring alignment and volumes are managed effectively.
