Location – London/Dublin Hybrid - 2 days per week (Dublin only) 18 Month FTC

The Team

As part of the Global Finance Transformation team (Polaris) reporting to the Polaris Programme Director, you’ll craft key strategic messages to all key internal partners and partner groups within the programme and the broader Global Finance community including Steerco, SOX Steerco, Group CFO, audit committee and board as required.

What you’ll do

  • Translate sophisticated messages into insightful, clear and concise materials.
  • Navigate the sophisticated Polaris programme structure and internal partner landscape with trust and integrity.
  • Provide thought‑leadership in relation to:
    • How we drive innovation
    • How we harness the potential of our global Finance workforce
    • Agile, digital‑aligned operating models
  • Own the analysis that shapes complex solutions, including making recommendations on critical decisions.
  • Facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade‑offs and options to be progressed during the lifecycle of major strategic change.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure expectations, outcomes and impacts of Polaris critical initiatives are clear and consistently understood.
  • Produce high quality, Global Finance LT & Polaris Steering Committee ready outputs, proposals, and status updates.
  • Develop relationships with senior partners across finance at Flutter.
  • Lead by example and feed an organisational culture that adopts change and continuous improvement, while serving as a role model in the promotion of the Polaris ambition.

How you’ll do it

  • Experience of operating within a fast‑paced global online/eCommerce organization, ideally one with a multi‑divisional structure.
  • Experience building excellent working relationships with key partners up to C‑suite and collaborators at all levels of the Group.
  • Experience creating effective long‑term strategies and successfully completing them; a critical thinker with a track record of solving complex problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a style that can flex according to the audience, excellent storytelling ability with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Proven creative thinking ability: willing to look at alternatives and consider new ways of thinking to solve problems.
