About CFO

Flutter consists of two commercial divisions (FanDuel and International) and our central Flutter Functions; COO, Finance & Legal. Here in Flutter Functions we work with colleagues across all our divisions and regions to deliver something we call the Flutter Edge. It’s our competitive advantage, our ‘secret sauce’ which plays a key part in our ongoing success and powers our brands and divisions, through Product, Tech, Expertise and Scale.

In Flutter Finance we pride ourselves in providing global expertise to ensure Flutter is financially healthy. Utilising our Flutter Edge to turbo‑charge our capabilities.

Flutter Treasury has made significant progress on its treasury transformation journey, including the implementation of an in‑house bank, enhancement of treasury systems and the simplification of the group’s banking infrastructure. The group’s in‑house bank is built on a virtual account‑based liquidity structure, enabling increased centralisation of cash management and treasury operations across the group.

Alongside this, Flutter launched a wider Group Finance transformation programme in 2024 (“Project Polaris”), which will run through to 2027 and includes a group‑wide Oracle Cloud implementation, faster close objectives and the centralisation and standardisation of finance processes globally.

Reporting to the Group Treasury Senior Manager – Transformation, Integration & Projects, the Senior Analyst will support the delivery of Project Polaris and wider treasury transformation initiatives. The role will contribute to the design, analysis and implementation of treasury projects across systems, processes, controls and operating model change.

This is a hands‑on role suited to a high‑performing analyst with strong treasury knowledge, project delivery capability and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders. The role requires a proactive mindset and strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, suggest solutions and support the delivery of outcomes within a fast‑paced transformation environment. It provides broad exposure to senior treasury leadership, transformation initiatives and cross‑functional collaboration across Group Finance.

The role sits within a geographically diverse treasury team, with team members based in Dublin, Isle of Man, Leeds and London.

What you’ll do

  • Support the Senior Manager in delivering treasury-related initiatives across the Project Polaris pillars: Organisation & People, Systems & Data, Process & Reporting and ICFR (Controls).
  • Assist with maintaining project plans, tracking milestones, dependencies and actions for treasury work streams.
  • Prepare analysis, documentation and supporting materials for workshops, design sessions and governance forums.
  • Support change management activities, including impact assessments, communications and stakeholder engagement.
  • Assist in documenting and improving global treasury processes, policies and controls, with a focus on consistency and standardisation.
  • Support the implementation of cash flow forecasting in EPM and TMS tools including the coordination with business units and assisting with user testing and issue resolution.
  • Assist divisional liquidity improvements initiatives and supporting actions to improve cash visibility and short‑term liquidity.
  • Support improvements to treasury operational processes, focusing on efficiency, automation and control enhancement.
  • Support responses to internal and external audit queries related to treasury transformation activities and ensure changes are well documented.
  • Support treasury system initiatives, including bank connectivity, payments processing and bank statement integration.
  • Participate in system testing activities (SIT / UAT), overseeing test execution, issue logging, retesting and ensuring these items are fed back into the Central Polaris PMO team.
  • Assist in ensuring treasury system requirements and timelines are aligned with broader finance system design under Project Polaris.
  • Support coordination between Group Treasury, local finance teams and the Polaris programme as required.
  • Assist with analysis and implementation activities related to the centralisation of treasury activities.
  • Work with Finance, Accounting, Tax and Systems teams to support the embedding of treasury requirements into wider finance initiatives.
  • Prepare clear and accurate materials for senior treasury stakeholders, including status updates and analysis packs.
  • Support engagement with internal stakeholders to gather information, track progress and resolve issues.
  • Assist with interaction with external partners where required (banks, system vendors, advisors). Building strong working relationships with all relevant stakeholders.

How you’ll do it

  • 3–4 years’ experience in treasury, finance transformation, financial systems or a related role within a multinational or complex organisation and/or Big Four consultancy.
  • Foundational understanding of treasury operations, cash management, banking and liquidity concepts. Exposure to finance or treasury systems and systems change initiatives desirable.
  • Awareness of treasury controls and SOX / ICFR environments referred.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience supporting senior stakeholders.
  • Accounting, Treasury or Project Management qualifications (or progress toward them) a distinct advantage.
  • Clear Communicator: Able to explain information clearly and adapt communication for different audiences.
  • Well Organised: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Collaborative: Works effectively as part of a team across functions and locations.
  • Analytical: Able to analyse data, identify issues and support solution development.
  • Adaptable: Comfortable working in a changing and evolving transformation environment.
