Flutter Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to deliver and communicate architectural vision and roadmap within the GST Global Sports and Trading team within Global Platforms. This senior-level role requires comprehensive technical expertise, critical thinking, and leadership capabilities, with a strong focus on shaping technical vision and influencing architectural decisions that support scalability, resilience, and outstanding customer experience.
Location – Dublin/Leeds/Porto Hybrid Permanent
The candidate will work independently to solve problems, analyse architectural decisions from perspectives, and evaluate long-term implications across customers and business units. The role places emphasis on leading without formal authority, driving innovation, and mentoring while delivering sustainable, high-performance solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in solutions architecture within large-scale enterprise environments, with strength in systems thinking, stakeholder influence, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences. Proficiency in championing guidelines and driving positive organizational change is essential. We are looking for a visionary architect who can inspire and influence others, consistently deliver high-quality work, and serve as a trusted technical advisor across the organization.

What You’ll Need
- Technical Expertise: 7+ years of hands-on experience with solutions architecture in high-volume, enterprise environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of high-volume, highly available, transactional web applications with ability to solve complex technical challenges independently.
- Extensive experience with event-driven and reactive systems, message-based architectures, and designing for scalability.
- Proven experience with service-based approaches (REST, SOA, Microservices), APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL), Messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, Pulsar) and capacity modelling/forecasting.
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational datastores, network and web application security.
