Flutter consists of two commercial divisions (FanDuel and International) and our central Flutter Functions; COO, Finance & Legal. Here in Flutter Functions we work with colleagues across all our divisions and regions to deliver something we call the Flutter Edge. In Flutter Finance we pride ourselves in providing global expertise to ensure Flutter is financially healthy, utilising our Flutter Edge to turbo-charge our capabilities. Flutter Treasury has made significant progress on its treasury transformation journey, including the implementation of an in-house bank, enhancement of treasury systems and the simplification of the groupâs banking infrastructure. The groupâs in-house bank is built on a virtual account-based liquidity structure, enabling increased centralisation of cash management and treasury operations across the group.
Alongside this, Flutter launched a wider Group Finance transformation programme in 2024 (âProject Polarisâ), which will run through to 2027 and includes a group-wide Oracle Cloud implementation, faster close objectives and the centralisation and standardisation of finance processes globally.
What youâll do:
- Reporting to the Group Treasury Senior Manager â Systems & Processes, this role has responsibility for supporting treasury technology on a global basis.
- Systems play a key role in our treasury transformation project, and the role has full responsibility for enhancing existing treasury systems and processes on Flutter Treasuryâs journey of continual improvement to be best in class for a Fortune 500 organisation.
- Manage and mentor a team of 1-2 treasury junior analysts (interns), fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment, and contributing to their professional growth.
- Support the development and encouragement of a culture within the group treasury function that embodies high energy, enthusiasm, and a positive outlook.
- Contribute to outlining the TMS roadmap and priorities over the next two years, ensuring alignment with the Group Strategic Plan and Oracle roadmap.
- Oversee daily treasury TMS streams, operations and critical interfaces between TMS and key finance systems.
