The Systems Risk & Controls team is part of the Global Finance Technology, BI & Innovation Department and works alongside Finance Technology teams, Internal Controls Assurance and Transformation teams to support adherence to the Flutter governance framework and SOX controls. The team facilitates a strong controls environment across the Finance Technology stack through projects that ensure compliance with SOX and other standards such as ISO27001, by implementing governance standards, driving remediation, and leading IT controls transformation initiatives.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage projects relating to Finance Technology Department controls governance.
- Support System and Control Owners with generating and maintaining high‐standard controls documentation.
- Collaborate with Internal Controls Transformation team, System Team and SR&C members to implement a controls framework for newer systems and those being implemented.
- Drive and lead work to enhance controls governance and adherence to global policies.
- Identify efficiencies, streamlining and standardisation opportunities for controls implementation.
What you'll need:
- 2 years' experience in GRC or systems controls, with project‐management skills as a must.
- Strong understanding of IT General Controls (design, implementation, monitoring and reporting of assurance issues). Experience with SOX controls is a nice to have.
- Project‐management experience in controls or enterprise environments is a nice to have.
- Risk advisory experience, specifically in IT controls management, is a nice to have.
- Organised, ability to prioritise and handle many moving pieces of work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Ability to build positive working relationships within the business.
- Critical thinker who can implement or propose designs of controls using the GRC framework.
- Knowledge of IT Automated Controls (ITACs) is a nice to have.
- Experience with Oracle product controls (Oracle EBS, EPM, ODI, Fusion) is a nice to have.
- Strong communicator and team player.
- Comfortable operating in a fast‐paced environment, able to prioritise work.
- Ability to think outside the box, question processes and identify gaps for improvement.
- Self‐motivated, initiative‐driven, and able to ask for help when needed.
- Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across the business.
