Location – London. Hybrid. Permanent. Reporting to the Flutter International Chief People Officer and Group Senior Talent Director, the Chief of Staff is accountable for crafting and delivering initiatives that advance senior talent strategy and the International people agenda. In this role, you will support the leadership team in setting priorities, driving progress, and managing the effective operational management of the function.
The remit of the team has expanded five-fold over the past year, so you will be crucial in scaling the function’s operating model, governance, practices and infrastructure to enable delivery at increased scale, pace and complexity, whilst delivering game-changing talent initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Planning & Prioritisation - support your key stakeholders to manage their long-term plan and annual objectives.
- Leadership Enablement & Governance - act as a connective leader, ensuring clarity of priorities, alignment of activity, and effective governance across the function.
- Programme Delivery - drive the coordinated execution of pivotal initiatives through robust programme management, strong collaborator relationships and focused tracking of actions, outcomes, risks and interdependencies.
- Insight, Data & Decision Support - own and maintain core Senior Talent documentation, data and insights, ensuring information is current, high-quality and used to inform decision-making across all initiatives in scope.
- Executive & Exco Materials - lead the preparation, coordination and follow-up of high-quality briefing materials and papers for the Senior Talent Director's engagements with Exco teams, ensuring clear narratives, and robust inputs.
- Senior Talent Advisory & Execution Support - provide insight and challenge, capturing decisions and actions, and driving delivery.
- Enterprise Problem-Solving & SME Coordination - contribute to broader business initiatives and projects, ensuring appropriate challenge is applied and the right subject-matter expertise is engaged to support high-quality outcomes.
- Operating Model & Process Excellence - build, embed and continuously improve core processes across the team, including budget planning and management, risk and compliance reporting, data governance, and GDPR tracking.
How You’ll Do It

- Demonstrated operational rigour, including planning, governance, budgeting, risk, and compliance.
- Good judgement and discretion, with experience handling confidential and price-sensitive information.
- Hands-on, outcomes-focused operator with strong data, Excel and documentation skills, and a track record of improving ways of working.
- Resilient and able to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced business. Handles incidents and crises optimally; highlighting a way forward during setbacks, and building energy and resilience in others along the way.
