Join to apply for the Senior Finance Manager - Technical Accounting role at Flutter Entertainment. Reporting to the Associate Director - Global Intercompany & Statutory Reporting, you will manage a team responsible for recording both internal and external debt, technical accounting queries, intercompany and statutory reporting. You will work closely with Group Reporting, Technical Accounting, Tax, Company Secretarial, FP&A, Divisional Finance teams, as well as Legal and external auditors. You must demonstrate leadership skills, good business judgment, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and strong project management skills.
What you’ll do:
- Aiding the Finance Managers in the accurate recording and reporting of internal and external debt within the Flutter Group.
- Working in close partnership with the Group Technical Accounting team to guarantee accurate accounting treatment under IFRS and US GAAP for complex debt instruments and financing arrangements.
- Serving as the lead contact for complex technical accounting customer issues, working alongside the technical accounting team to clarify doubts and develop practical solutions.
