We are looking for a professional with a shown ability to develop and implement standard security patterns that enhance organizational security. This role requires collaboration skills, the ability to work with various teams, and engagement with internal engineering teams, partners, and stakeholders across different functions. The successful candidate will also have experience supporting migration and modernization projects with a focus on cybersecurity. A customer focused approach, combined with a practical understanding of security best practices, is needed for adapting to today’s evolving threat landscape.

What you’ll do:

  • Design, implement, and lead security architectures, including direct involvement with security technologies and practices.
  • Adapt and implement key information security frameworks and standards into practical tools, processes, and design guidelines for the organization.
  • Develop, review, and implement security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring they are integrated into the development lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance and approval for security designs related to new systems and applications.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure secure design and operation of systems and applications.
  • Keep informed about the latest security trends and engage with the security community to update security architectures as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, third-party vendors, and service providers to ensure effective security service delivery.
  • Participate in the ongoing improvement of security processes and controls, including regular reviews and updates of security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to enhance the organization’s security posture.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization’s security strategy and roadmap, finding opportunities for collaboration and providing support as needed.

How you’ll do it:

  • Several years of experience in cybersecurity architecture and design, with hands-on knowledge of security technologies.
  • Cloud Exposure: Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms in an enterprise environment.
  • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Policy Development: Experience in developing and implementing security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Identity Management: Practical experience with identity and access management systems.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Committed to sharing knowledge within the broader security community.
  • Agile Experience: Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Management Proficiency: Knowledge in incident, change, problem, and risk management.
  • Bonus Qualifications: Experience in software engineering, coding, and automation is a plus.
