The Midweight Designer role helps shape how the brand shows up globally with a focus on propositions, live events and acquisition campaigns. It integrates with the strategic marketing approach to define brand flexibility locally and maintain consistency while making room for adaptation to resonate across audiences.
Responsibilities
- Supports the development of new visuals for cross-vertical campaigns with a focus on acquisition and online tournaments/propositions.
- Contributes to the creation and rollout of design toolkits, working closely with brand and regional marketing teams.
- Works with senior members of the Design Team to identify opportunities to optimise visual identity to drive greater impact and design cohesion.
- Collaborates closely with the studio to ensure design work is scalable and adaptable across multi-channel outputs.
- Partners with the wider Content & Creative team to support the integration of visual identity and storytelling.
- Applies good judgement in understanding when bespoke design is required versus working within existing systems.
- Works alongside UX/UI teams to ensure alignment with product best practices.
- Acts as a reliable contributor within project teams, supporting delivery across brand and studio.
- Collaborates with stakeholders and takes on feedback constructively.
- Interprets briefs clearly and contributes ideas that elevate creative output.
What You’ll Bring
- Solid design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality work across styles and formats.
- Good understanding of core design principles, with the ability to apply them effectively across projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, with excellent typographic skills.
- Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-function teams and taking direction where needed.
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Experience in betting or gaming is advantageous but not essential.
- Awareness of multiple creative disciplines (animation, 3D, illustration, type, video) is a bonus; your insights will help drive collaborative projects.
- Experience supporting or collaborating with other designers is beneficial.
Location & Work Arrangement
This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. Discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for mission alignment. Our Leeds office is at the heart of our business; the 8-storey building has an onsite staff gym and cafeteria, two heated rooftop terraces, a dedicated gaming room, and a staircase amphitheatre. The space brings all our teams under one roof in the biggest private letting office in Yorkshire.
