Leadership and Talent Development Lead

We’re looking for a Leadership and Talent Development Lead to join our Leadership, Learning & Talent Team at Flutter UK & Ireland.

Developing leaders that are capable of delivering the right results the right way is crucial if we are to achieve our ambitious growth goals and provide world-class experiences to our customers. Your role involves translating the leadership and talent development strategy into a set of coherent development initiatives that can be activated across the brands. You’ll be instrumental in crafting and running programmes that will improve both the quality and quantity of our leadership and talent populations across the UKI business.

As a result of your work our leadership succession plans will be strengthened and the number of internal candidates ready to embrace leadership roles will increase. Our leaders will be better equipped to engage our employees and the heightened engagement will result in better results for our customers and investors.

You will also be responsible for the team who build and deliver excellent programmes and initiatives for our talent and leadership populations. You’ll also support the creation and roll-out of strategies that improve the quality and quantity of critical talent populations so that brilliant people with relevant skills continue to drive our growth. As part of this your team will design interventions to develop these populations.

What you’ll do

Use data and diagnostics to identify current and future needs and to determine how to most effectively increase leadership capability.

Partner with People Partners and business leaders across the UKI division to establish talent needs and develop programmes for key talent

Design and implement a UK&I approach to leadership and talent development to ensure the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

Scope, manage, develop and execute the design and delivery of varied leadership development programmes that build leadership capability across the group.

Drive excitement for innovative approaches to leadership and talent development that drive the retention and engagement of leadership talent.

Leading a team & utilising resources across the wider people team as required

Working closely with the other divisions to ensure maximum opportunity for talent mobility is achieved.

How you’ll do it

A capable thought leader in leadership and talent development with a strong external network.

Proven track record of effectively operating in a leadership and talent development role with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout a global organization at all levels of the hierachy.

Experience of supporting the design and execution of a leadership and talent development strategy that accelerates business strategy execution.

Relevant experience in project management and budgeting.

Strong working knowledge of leadership and talent development best practice and innovations.

Track record of contributing to successful teams and of building teams capable of sustaining high performance over time.
