Role Purpose

At Flutter, we are embarking on an ambitious global finance transformation programme over the next three years. The IT Controls Transformation Senior Manager will be responsible for delivering elements of the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) pillar of the global finance transformation programme, as well as supporting other finance transformation pillars (e.g., finance ERP implementation) by providing ICFR input and insight. The Senior Manager will report to the Head of IT Controls Transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specific short-term and long-term transformation elements of the ICFR project plan, focusing on IT controls across the organization.
• Manage external support to ensure project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Contribute to project management reporting and communicate risks or issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within ICFR activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external auditors, and key stakeholders to facilitate successful project execution.

Skills & Capabilities

• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Effective management of internal and external teams.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate project status and risks.
• Deep understanding of ICFR processes, especially IT controls.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• PCAOB audit experience and professional services or industry background.
• Experience delivering ICFR activities over at least one full financial cycle.
• Knowledge of material weakness or deficiency remediation is advantageous.
• Experience with finance transformation projects, ERP implementations, or technology enablement of ICFR is beneficial.

Measures of Success

• Achieving an unqualified ICFR opinion from external auditors for FY2025.
• Successfully transforming the ICFR environment globally by 2027.
• Maintaining high-quality ICFR controls and fostering a culture that values ICFR as a key component of financial reporting.
