What Is The Role
In recognition of the significant scaling of Flutter over the last two years, and the criticality of our people helping Flutter achieves its ambitious growth targets, we are recruiting a new Head of Learning role who will report directly to the Director Learning and Inclusion for both Flutter Functions (Group) and UKI division. The Head of Learning role is a key member of the Learning, Inclusion and People Experience leadership team in the People Function. The role will work to lead a large learning team to design and deliver a best-in-class L&D strategy that power our people to grow their careers, builds our most critical capabilities, enables business transformation and fosters high performance. This role is unique as it will work across both the Flutter Functions (Group) and UKI division business stakeholders and strategies. This role leads our development programmes, budgets, planning and learning platforms to deliver breakthrough individual, team and organisation performance. Responsibilities
Strategic Learning Leadership
- Design, develop and implement a cross divisional and cross functional Learning strategy that aligns with business priorities and future workforce capability requirements.
- Responsible for designing and delivering learning and development initiatives aligned to our People strategy and roadmap across these three areas but not exclusively: core offerings for all employees including learning, and learning experience platforms.
- Champion and drive a compelling self-led learning experience, empowering, and equipping learners to access tailored development interventions from the learning menu of options on offer.
- Measure and analyse the impact of learning on business performance.
Programme development and delivery
- Manage and roll out the full suite of learning offering including programmes, platforms and propositions.
- Managing relationships and budgets by sourcing best in class supplies and vendors.
- Lead accountability on platforms
- Build working relationship with HR Operations to ensure cohesive experience and approval for learning content.
- Review compliance learning requests and raise to global learning team.
- Leverage learning technologies inc AI, create compelling digital learning and learning communities through the use of LMS and LXP platforms.
Stakeholder Engagement and collaboration
- Collaborate with key partners on career development initiatives that build the depth of our internal talent pools and succession pipelines.
- Contribute to the wider Flutter learning community, sharing knowledge and best practices, and identifying constructive collaboration and scale opportunities for talent development solutions, systems, and providers from our Hubs in Cluj, Porto, Hyderabad and the wider Flutter Group.
- Lead on opportunities to elevate the visibility and perception of our development experiences and programmes on offer through comms strategies and storytelling to keep learning top of mind.
Experience
- A capable inspiring leader in learning and development with a strong external network.
- Proven track record of effectively operating in a learning and development role building strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout a global organisation.
- Experience of supporting the design and execution of a learning and development strategy that accelerates business strategy execution.
- Shown experience in project management and budgeting.
- Strong solid understanding of learning and development standard methodology and innovations.
- Structured thinking and a clear ability to effectively shape stakeholder decision making
- Strong communication, contracting and negotiation skills and a good ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Consistent track record of dealing with 3rd party suppliers around timelines, budgets, SLAs and offerings.
- Strong organisational skills with business-oriented and results focused thinking.
- Track record of contributing to successful teams and of building teams capable of sustaining high performance over time.
