Maintenance Electrical Technician (TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Required)

Job Description
Must possess a clearance at the TS/SCI access level, and have favorably completed a government‑issued polygraph.
Primary responsibilities include installation of communications components and cabling infrastructure and other construction trades as deemed necessary. Performs installation, removal, termination and testing of electrical cables related to computer room raised‑floor equipment. Performs other general electrical maintenance installation‑related duties as required. Installs/removes electrical cables, determines proper cable routing/termination and installs connections. Installs cable tray, installs branch circuits in a raised‑floor environment. Installs conduit/cables for general site‑related electrical applications. Performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the distribution or utilization of electric energy. Work involves installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from schematics, blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment; working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment; and using a variety of electrician\’s hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.

Basic Job Requirements
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and five (5) years of work‑related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to nine (9) years if non‑degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications to comply with local requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time‑conscious and time‑effective manner
Other Job Requirements
- Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
- Journeyman\’s or Master’s Electrical License
- U.S. Citizen
- Various levels of environmental conditions including but not limited to project worksites and client facilities which may have temporary office space, moving mechanical parts and vibration; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and extreme temperatures and high noise levels
- Must demonstrate basic computer knowledge (I.e., ability to use email, internet, Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel, to effectively conduct company business on the program). Some positions may require an increased level of computer knowledge, depending on the required duties of the position.

- Excellent skills in interpersonal relations, conflict resolution
- Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e‑mail, spreadsheets and electronic presentation programs
- Functional proficiency in project controls, human relations, industrial relations, and contract management as applicable to assigned area of responsibility
- Demonstrated strong decision making, critical thinking and problem solving skills
