Job Description
Stores and Packing Operative – Site based in Cressex, High Wycombe, HP12 3SL. Permanent, full‑time, Monday – Friday (39 hours).
Job responsibilities include
- Accurately picking parts for production.
- Efficiently and carefully packing / consolidating orders for production.
- Preparing finished goods for dispatch, including packing, preparing paperwork and loading of goods vehicles.
- Following detailed and defined procedures and work instructions, making simple judgement calls in straightforward situations.
- Supporting continuous improvement techniques/initiatives within the Stores area.
- Supporting and maintaining an effective 5S policy within work areas.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of stock inventory principles and health and safety practices.
- Ability to work in a cohesive, motivated team.
- Good IT skills. Experience with Google Suite would be an advantage.
- Disciplined and organised approach to tasks with the ability to prioritise.
- Self‑motivating, conscientious and organised.
- Good team‑building, motivated, enthusiastic skill set.
- Flexible and innovative approach to problem solving.
- Manual handling training would be a benefit; training will be provided.
- Clear UK driving licence is desirable.
- A forklift licence would be an advantage.
