The Regeneration Operator prepares resin, mobile equipment and ion exchange resin tanks for customer fulfillment. Regenerates ion exchange resin and media with various chemicals, handles acids, bases and salts, performs quality control checks on equipment, and generally supports tasks performed by Plant Operations.

- Monitors bulk chemical delivery
- Receives resin from customer sites in resin tanks or on mobile equipment; empties exhausted media and prepares it for regeneration.
- Regenerates ion exchange resins and media with acids, bases and other chemicals.
- Performs quality control checks on equipment to ensure specifications are met (tests may include pH, specific ions, resistivity, and TDS).
- Repairs and maintains bottles/tanks and other service-type equipment, including minor valve/PVC repairs, painting, and refurbishing as required.
- Prepares resin tanks or mobile equipment by filling empty tanks with regenerated media.
- Separates ion exchange resins as required.
- Wears personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, safety shoes) as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- At least 1 year of experience in a comparable manufacturing environment involving chemical handling, or at least 1 year of experience in plumbing, pump or mechanical repair.
- This is a physical job that requires frequent lifting and bending motions, use of hand tools, and manual manipulation of equipment.
- Operates forklift as needed.
- HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- HS Chemistry knowledge highly desired.
- Ability and willingness to complete occasional site assignments for customer troubleshooting, operation and installation.
- Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manual dexterity.
- Ability and willingness to work in a range of environments including industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities.
- Ability and willingness to travel for installation and repair if needed.
