Establish quality and process control plans at suppliers for early detection of issues and to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability is consistently delivered. Assess vendor process capabilities and drive failure analysis and corrective action plan. Responsible for supplier quality management, supplier assessment with a focus on supplier quality controls, and supplier readiness. Lead APQP/PPAP supplier flow-down activities in collaboration with Engineering and Supply Chain. Assist with first article qualification and approvals. Conduct DFMEA and PFMEA activities. Support stop-ship activities related to suppliers, supplier audits, and other quality functions, as needed. Ability to handle assigned projects through good communication and project management skills. Travel up to 50%.
Your Team: We have team members based out of NA, China, and we are gearing to hire in UK and Malaysia.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution
- 10 years working experience in supplier quality and/or engineering related area
- Advanced knowledge of ISO 9001 / 13485 preferred
- Experience with Advanced Quality Engineering tools such as Failure Modes Effect Analysis (FMEA), GD&T, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, Mistake Proofing/Poke-Yoke, statistical sampling
- Proven understanding of Six Sigma principles or Lean Manufacturing concepts is preferred
- Electronic knowledge and skills are preferred (Circuit schematic reading, PCA process, PCB process, LCD process, electronic component knowledge and so on)
- Understanding and ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Hands on approach/experience with manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of tools like MSA and PPAP
- Experience in performing audits, using problem solving tools and driving corrective actions

- Strong problem-solving skills and team-work approach
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience conducting technical reviews with senior leadership
- Have ownership/leadership mindset with experience achieving results with minimal supervision
- German, French (or other EMEA) language skills a plus
