As a Metrologist at Fluke, you will be responsible for developing calibration procedures, automation, analysis, validation, and engineering for infrared temperature measurement instrumentation.

Fluke seeks individuals eager to work within a top-tier test and measurement equipment manufacturer. The candidate will join a team of metrology and engineering experts supporting accredited calibration of existing Fluke products and developing calibration procedures and measurement methods for new products.

Additionally, the candidate will:

  • Develop calibration methods based on measurement science principles, technical analysis, and accuracy requirements, primarily for Infrared Radiation and Thermography measurements.
  • Create automated calibration procedures.
  • Design calibration test systems for Fluke products.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot calibration test systems.
  • Perform calibrations to transfer traceability from Primary Standards to Laboratory Working Standards.
  • Conduct uncertainty analysis in support of accredited calibrations.
  • Assist design engineers in developing metrological specifications for new products.
  • Develop control charts and statistical process control for calibration standards.
  • Identify ways to improve calibration processes.

Qualifications include:

  • A bachelor’s degree in physics or electrical engineering with RF and optics emphasis.
  • Strong higher-level math skills such as calculus and numerical methods.
  • Ability to write code for measurement automation, data analysis, process control, and calibration procedures.
  • Experience in an ISO 17025 accredited lab is highly preferred.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and a desire for career growth.
