A day in the life of the Material Control Supervisor Manage the day-to-day movement and stock control of all materials within the Fluke Norwich facility. Daily Work Will Look Like Facilitating the completion of Inventory Cycle Counts Facilitating the completion of Kanban (Material Control) Audits Investigating and resolving causes of Inventory cycle count variances and Kanban Non-Conformances Working with the Production Team Leader(s) to ensure manufacturing lines are replenished with materials as required Responsibilities Adhere to all processes within assigned areas and contribute to process improvements Train team members to standard processes and ensure ongoing compliance Develop the team through training, coaching, cross-training, and recommending career progression Maintain proper records and reports for the team and results Use the Daily Management process to manage team performance and drive improvements The Team Lead a team of Material Handlers responsible for material movement, Kanban triggers, Cycle Counting, and replenishment. Focus on material control due to expansion and increased parts management. Collaborate with Production Leaders, Supervisors, Goods In/Shipping, and Project Coordination teams in a positive, supportive environment.
